Christmas party

We are very excited for our Christmas party on Sunday (7th December). The party is taking place at Penketh Conservative Club on Meeting Lane at 1-4pm. Tickets are available from https://bit.ly/Penketh-JoinIn-Shop. Children must be accompanied by an adult, but adults do not need a ticket. Each child will also receive a gift at the party. We are asking everyone to bring a plate of food. See the list on the front desk for what we are asking for. We will have several stalls at the party, including tom bola, colouring and tattoos, as well as entertainment, photo booth and music from the DJ. Please bring cash for the stalls. We hope to see you all there!

Christmas holidays

We are going to have 2 weeks off our recreational classes over Christmas. Our last classes before we break up will be on Saturday 20th December and classes will resume on Monday 5th January.  Squads may have some extra training over the Christmas period. If your child is in a squad, their coach will let you know their plans for the Christmas holidays.

Assessment week

Our next award scheme assessment week is this week (1st-6th December). For all recreational gymnasts who attend this week, we will assess them to see if they are ready to move onto the next level.  If they complete a level, you will receive an email to purchase the certificate and medal.  If they are not yet ready, you will be able to login to JoinIn to see what they still need to complete.

Car park

Unit 5 (next door to us) now has parking restrictions in place with ANPR cameras. You can drive through their car park because there is a 5 minute window but please don’t park in their spaces. You can park in any of the spaces with 4 on them or any round the back. Sorry for any inconvenience but it’s out of our hands.

Vault into Christmas competition

Well done to everyone who took part in the Vault into Christmas competition on 23rd November. We were so proud of all the children who took part. The ages ranged from our reception children up to 19 years old and we had a mix of children who come for 1 hour per week up to some squad gymnasts doing up to 9 hours. Thank you to everyone who attended, we hope you all enjoyed it. We have some pictures on our Facebook group and will also have some pictures on the noticeboard soon to show some of the children who took part.
